Before you meet

• Chat inside the app first; video-call before meeting in person.
• Look for the verified badge — but remember verification shows control of a college email or a reviewed document, not someone's character.
• Tell a friend where you're going; meet in a public place first.

Avoid rent scams

• Never pay a token, deposit or "visit fee" before seeing the place in person and meeting the owner or current flatmates.
• Be wary of prices far below the area average, pressure to "book now", or requests to pay via gift cards or crypto.
• Get a written agreement and receipts for every payment.
• Our team will never ask you for your password or an OTP.

Respect & our rules

• No harassment, hate speech or threats.
• No discrimination on religion, caste, region, race, sexual orientation or disability. Gender-specific housing is allowed only as a stated preference.
• No fake profiles, impersonation, or commercial brokers posing as students.
• Do not post contact details, other people's photos, or personal documents publicly.

Report & block

Every profile, listing and message has Report and Block. Reports are confidential and reviewed by moderators; serious reports are prioritised. Blocking hides you from each other immediately and ends any match.
